I had to spend 2 nights in York, staying somewhere with wifi and parking. This hotel has that and more, though it needed the owner's directing skills to fit my long wheel base vehicle into a space as the car park was nearly full when I arrived. The wifi is fast enough for clear Teams meetings and download speeds are very good.The unexpected bonuses are that the city centre is a comfortable walk away along quiet footpaths and narrow streets until you reach the old city walls, and the breakfast is excellent. The toast is soft on the inside, crisp on the outside and still hot when it comes to the table. - colin o

Great stay at a lovely independent hotel within easy reach of city centre.Arthur was a great host. Rooms clean and tidy, great breakfast and free parking too!! Will be back!- N
